By using TailorCV, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, have read and agree to these Terms, and have read our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

TailorCV provides a free, web-based tool that uses artificial intelligence to help users tailor their CVs to job descriptions, generate ATS scores, and produce downloadable PDF and DOCX documents. The Service is provided "as is" and is subject to change at any time.

You agree to use TailorCV only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to create or distribute false, misleading, or fraudulent CV information
• Attempt to misrepresent qualifications, experience, or personal information on any CV
• Submit content that is offensive, defamatory, or violates any applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate mass usage of the Service
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Upload content containing malware, scripts, or other harmful code
• Use the Service to process personal data of third parties without their consent

TailorCV uses third-party AI models (OpenAI, Google Gemini) to generate CV content. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may not always be accurate, appropriate, or free from errors
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving any AI-generated content before use
• TailorCV does not guarantee that AI-tailored CVs will result in job interviews or employment offers
• You must ensure all information in your final CV is truthful and accurate

Your content: You retain all ownership rights to the CV content you create using TailorCV. By using the Service, you grant TailorCV a temporary, limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Our content: The TailorCV platform, including its design, code, templates, and all non-user-generated content, is owned by TailorCV and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without permission.

TailorCV is supported by advertising. By using the Service, you acknowledge that advertisements may be displayed. Advertisements are served by third-party ad networks and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

TailorCV integrates with third-party services including OpenAI and Google Gemini for AI processing. Use of these services is also subject to their respective terms. TailorCV is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TAILORCV MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR QUALITY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TAILORCV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES OR RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings.
